Artist's Description

The Eurasian Jay is a bold and beautiful corvid that is normally heard but only often seen as it collects acorns in Autumn. It is persecuted by gamekeepers due to it stealing eggs and young birds in woodland habitats causing its shyness. It is a bit more approachable in gardens and parks as it collects nuts from feed stations.
