One of the Tall ships berthed at the Albert dock.The Albert dock is one of the tourist hot spots for visitors visiting Liverpool.One of the latest editions to our city is the Hilton hotel where many celebrities stay when appearing at the Echo arena and filming out and about the city.
Liverpool often welcome the Tall ships to the city and a vast array of ships come from all over the world.With the opening of the cruise liner terminal passengers can board and disembark at the foot of the world famous Royal Liver buildings.This puts Liverpool back on the map as more and more visitors flock to the birth place of the Beatles .We boast two cathedrals and we have two Premier leaague football teams Liverpool and Everton.
Liverpool was also associated with the slave trade which a lot of evidence as been documented and now on show at the maritime museum.
